Courtrend — Advanced Rolling Analytics & Context
Courtrend is a free, independent basketball analytics dashboard. It charts every team's 10-game rolling averages (offensive, defensive and net rating, points, rebounds, assists, turnovers and True Shooting %) against a league-average baseline, with an optional strength-of-schedule adjustment, and publishes daily power rankings ordered by the Courtrend Blended Score.
What's on Courtrend
- Dashboard: rolling trend charts and volatility for each team, with the league-average line for context.
- Power Rankings: teams ordered by their current 10-game net rating, shrunk toward the league average until a team has played 10 games, with 1-day and 7-day rank trends.
- Multi-Team Overlay: compare teams' rolling trajectories side by side.
- Strength of Schedule: an optional adjustment that credits results against strong opponents and discounts results against weak ones.
- Methodology: every estimator, assumption and known limitation, written so any figure can be reproduced from public box scores.

Early-season Way-Too-Early blending is active (league average 3.7 of 10 calibration games across 30 active teams; smaller samples are shrunk toward the -0.03 league baseline).
